The standout feature of the Synergy Gravity Trickle is its unique gravity setup. Unlike typical trickle filters that must be installed above water level, the GT30 solves this aesthetic concern with a specially designed water level regulator. This ensures optimal water distribution over the underlying material, maintaining a constant water level regardless of pond pump capacity.
This groundbreaking design achieves superior pre-filtration through the drum screen and maximizes biological processes via the trickle section. The continuous high-rate water flow enhances oxygen uptake and promotes continuous outgassing of ammonium and CO2.
The GT30 comes equipped with 150 liters of Crystal Bio media, renowned for its extraordinary porous structure. With an expansive surface area of approximately 18,000m2/m3, Crystal Bio also offers KH buffering properties. Additionally, you have the option to use your preferred media, such as our Kano Shower media. With 300 liters of Crystal Bio, approximately 1600 grams/day can be accommodated.
